Why Elev8 Visions
01 — Field Experience First
Nearly 20 years in the field means we understand site conditions, risks, and operational realities — not just data capture.
02 — Fully Licensed & Compliant
Advanced aviation licensing, strict operational standards, and no shortcuts. Every mission is executed safely and professionally.
03 — Elite Equipment Only
We invest in top-tier systems — LiDAR, advanced sensors, and high-performance platforms — because precision starts with the right tools.
04 — Operators, Not Pilots
This isn’t a side skill. This is what we do. Every deployment is executed with intention, control, and accountability.
Elev8 Visions wasn’t built in an office — it was built in the field.
With nearly 20 years of hands-on experience across mining, rail, and high-risk environments, we understand what’s actually required to operate in complex conditions. Tight timelines, limited access, safety constraints — this is where we’ve spent our careers.
That experience directly shapes how we approach aerial data capture.
We don’t just fly drones. We execute missions with purpose — capturing the right data, in the right way, for real-world decision making.
About
Built From the Field. Not From a Desk.
Elev8 Visions was built on real-world experience — not theory.
Nearly two decades of boots-on-the-ground work in high-risk, high-demand environments shape how we operate today.
LEAD OPERATORS
Built by Experience. Backed by Execution.
The people behind Elev8 Visions aren’t generalists — they’re field-tested operators with real-world experience in high-risk environments.
Derrick Campeau
Founder & Lead Operator
Nearly 20 years of boots-on-the-ground experience across mining, infrastructure, and high-risk environments.
Derrick built Elev8 Visions to bring real operational knowledge into aerial data capture — combining field experience with advanced technology to deliver results that are actually usable on site.
From remote operations to complex, high-pressure environments, the approach is simple: execute with precision, or don’t execute at all.

Nova Scotia Exploration Project — LiDAR & Magnetometer Survey
December 2026-Present
Mining • Exploration • LiDAR • Magnetometer
Challenge:
The client required high-resolution terrain data across 15 individual claims (40 acres each) to support early-stage exploration.
The area was large, varied in terrain, and required both surface mapping and subsurface insight to properly assess potential.
What You Did:
Executed a full-site LiDAR survey across all claims to generate accurate terrain models, while integrating a magnetometer system to capture subsurface variations.
This dual-sensor approach allowed for both high-resolution surface mapping and geophysical data collection in a single workflow.
Outcome:
Delivered detailed terrain data alongside magnetometer outputs, providing the client with a stronger understanding of site conditions and potential areas of interest.
The combined dataset supported more informed exploration planning and reduced the need for early-stage ground-based surveys.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital — Site Mapping & Progress Capture
April 2026-Present
Infrastructure • Construction • Mapping
Challenge:
An active construction environment required accurate, up-to-date site data without disrupting ongoing operations.
What You Did:
Executed aerial mapping and data capture across the site, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining high data accuracy.
Outcome:
Delivered clear, actionable site data that supported project tracking, coordination, and decision
Underground Mine Mapping & LiDAR Capture
March 2026
Mining • Underground • LiDAR
Challenge:
Large portions of the mine were inaccessible due to safety risks and limited entry points, creating significant gaps in visibility and planning.
What You Did:
Deployed advanced LiDAR systems into confined underground environments to capture high-density spatial data without exposing personnel to risk.
Outcome:
Delivered a clean, structured dataset that provided full visibility of previously inaccessible areas,

Quote from our founder
“We don’t succeed until our clients do.
This isn’t about collecting data — it’s about delivering something that holds up in real-world conditions, where decisions matter and mistakes are expensive.”
